Keep up to date with what’s happening at your local music hotspots by following their Spotify pages. See the new artist line-ups, and discover what’s happening in your area.

Spotify introduces an upgrade to their Concerts Near You feature, which was launched in March this year. The updates allow both free and Premium users to discover nearby events easily by following their favourite venues.
Since the original introduction of the concerts feature, more than 3 million people have used it to find local events. This is great for local smaller artist’s discovery. People might find concerts happening and decide to attend, supporting a new artist.
With the world being so heavily involved online (sad, but true) it’s typically the way we all find out what’s happening nearby – by looking online. Having it in the app you reach for every day on your commute, while working or studying, makes it all that much easier.
The Concerts Near You feature will update weekly, however, the new Live Events feed will refresh each day. It will bring forward concerts locally that are relevant to you. Based upon your streaming history and the genres that interest you most.
When you follow a venue, it gets added to your library, making it easier to find alongside the suggested venues that you might like. If you come across a venue and then event you like, you can follow the links to the official ticket vendors.
You’ll receive confirmation on the purchase of your tickets and will then be directed back to Spotify. By returning to the Spotify events page, you can view more concerts. There are over 20,000 venues listed worldwide and likely more will be added.
