ChatGPT is being brought to Apple Music, allowing music fans to have playlists created for them with just a few clicks. The feature has proven extremely popular with Spotify users previously, so we imagine it will be a hit with Apple Music users too.

ChatGPT are integrating with multiple platforms once again. One being Apple Music. In October 2024, OpenAI brought apps to ChatGPT, at that time, they introduced: Spotify, Booking.com, Canva, Coursera, Figma, Expedia and Zillow.
Now they’re opening this up further, and Apple Music will become part of their integrations. Alongside Apple Music, the following platforms will be added: Adobe, Airtable, Clay, Lovable, OpenTable, Replit and Salesforce.
They’re also opening things up for developers to integrate their own apps. OpenAI CEO has mentioned Adobe have been able to add Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat apps within their platform. These expansions allow more possibilities for small businesses and content creators who might not otherwise have access to these tools.
How will Apple Music work within ChatGPT?
Just like Spotify, users of both ChatGPT and Apple Music will be able to ask the AI platform to create them a playlist. Simply request things such as “Apple Music, make me a gym workout playlist that will keep me motivated”
The platform will require authorisation to log into your streaming account and connect to the AI platform. This will allow the platform to create playlists for you by accessing your data. Without it, the results won’t be personalised.
