Apple Music’s year in review is here, before Spotify Wrapped too. They beat their competitors to the finish line. Apple users can head to the online platform and see their trends for the year.
Apple Music’s year in review is now here. Users can head over to the web page and access their music streaming data from the year. The information has been collected throughout the year. Allowing music fans to see their most streamed tracks.
Replay will show playlists that might interest you based on your habits throughout 2024. Users will find carousels which include features showing how many minutes of music you’ve streamed and which artists are your top for the year.
View information like your favourite genres, and where you stand within your favourite artists fans. Are you in the top 1% of listeners for the year? Have your top artists changed from the end of 2023 until now, or, are you true to your favourite artist every year?
The downside to Replay is, Apple users can’t access it within the app. It seems strange because Replay came off the back of their competitors at Spotify doing Wrapped. Which can of course be found both within the app, and online.
However, Apple users will be bounced from the app, to Safari if they try to find Replay through their mobile device. It’s an exclusive web browser feature. Surely, that’s going to drive users elsewhere, or just put them off using the feature.
It’s a shame users have another year of Replay not being available within the app, however, they are able to redirect the playlists to their phones. If a playlist has been created that you want to steam, you can save it to your library and find it through the app.
