Threads takes your information from Instagram and transfers it over to their platform when you create an account. However, if you want to change your language, you can do this through your settings.
If you’re looking to start utilising the Threads platform, you’ll want it to be in your own native language. Normally, this will be selected when starting an account. However, if your information has been pulled from Instagram, perhaps you want to change it.
With so many dual-lingual individuals out there, there can be a need for different platforms in different languages. Perhaps you just want to change things up. Whatever, your reason, you can easily make the switch through Threads settings.

It’s so quick and easy to change your settings on Threads. You don’t need to have the same settings on both Instagram and Threads if you don’t want to. Your accounts are yours to edit as you wish. Data will automatically be transferred.
However, once you’ve updated your settings in one account, it won’t automatically update your settings in the other. The two overlap in many ways, but they are still their own platforms overall. You can make these changes at any time.
