iOS app Denim gets an update – create brand-new playlist artwork

Denim is an iPhone based app that allows users to create artwork for music playlists. It has recently undergone huge changes, which should make the process better than ever.

Denim is an app which can only be found on iPhone devices. It allows users to create unique artwork which they can use in their playlists. When it first launched there was over 50 styles of art users could choose from. However, over time, this started to become repetitive.

While users could customise the artwork choices, they didn’t have full control over all features. Now, with the new update, Denim 3 allows for these changes. Users can alter text and fonts, allowing them to alter the artwork more freely.

Main changes with Denim 3

The app updates will see even more artwork choices. You’ll also notice you can add text, choose various fonts, and move options around. It should now be a true reflection of you or what you want to say, rather than a rigid piece of artwork.

Artwork will now be recommended to users based on the type of music they listen to on Apple Music. Of course, this is if you choose to connect your Apple account to Denim. The artwork suggested will be relevant, based upon the artists artwork you like streaming.

All artwork you edit or create is then stored within your device through iCloud. You’ll also notice the Playlists & Settings tabs have been combined to simplify things. If you press the plus button, Denim will automatically bring up your most recent playlist.

With the new updates you don’t have to connect an Apple account, however, by doing so, you can bring up your frequently used playlists to add artwork to. If you tap on any artwork piece within Denim’s app, you will be taken to the editor.

You have access to Denim on the iPhone SE now, which is new, as previously it wasn’t accessible on this model. If you make a mistake, Denim will allow you to undo or redo any recent step, and you can even now rotate text or resize it.

Basically, Denim has had a makeover and the developers have taken users into consideration. They have thought about the tools or features users might like to see and have ensured they are accessible within the app. Making artwork creation easier than ever.
