Spotify had a fantastic year in 2022. With new features appearing regularly, they really made tough competition for any other streaming platforms. This year seems to be no different. With 2023 only just beginning, they’re already firing out new features for users to look forward to. Their latest feature, stretching all the way until 2024!

Have you ever wanted to create a time capsule? Well, now you can! Spotify Playlist in a Bottle is a time capsule to your future self. The best bit is, it’s of course digital. No need to start digging and hiding your favourite things away for a future you to dig up. Instead, you can easily review your music habits via the Spotify app.

So, are you going to give it a go? It’s certainly a fun concept and adds something unique to a platform. With all streaming platforms trying to compete with each other, Spotify are doing well at making themselves stand out. What do you think your future self will be listening to, and do you think they’d be embarrassed with your current taste? Perhaps you’re someone who has their favourite artist’s year in and year out, so for you, there’s no concern. But, maybe you’re someone who changes their taste regularly and therefore 2024 you will be confused by the current you!
