When it comes to being a DJ, it can be hard to find all the tools you need to create great sounds. After all, it all comes at a cost. Which, can be understandable, because artists should earn money for their work, especially if it is being remixed to make further music.

However, with the cost, many DJs aren’t always able to make their craft as good as they possibly could, because the money acts as a boundary. Spotify are working to bridge this gap and make tracks more accessible, giving DJs more options.

With the new integration, Spotify Premium users will be able to access their entire libraries and playlists from their DJ software, providing they use one of the following; rekordbox, Serato or djay. These integrations are available across 51 markets.

This will allow you to mix songs using high quality software. You can shift between moods and tracks seamlessly without lag or poor quality. You just need to log into your Spotify account to access your library.

  1. Head to your DJ platform – rekordbox, Serato or djay on your desktop
  2. Log into your Spotify Premium account when prompted
  3. Find your favourite playlist or tracks from Spotify
  4. Mix your tracks and make some new songs
