Spotify has broken records this year, with 2025 being the biggest year for Wrapped yet. They’ve released data sharing within the first 24 hours they had over 200 million views.

Spotify reveals the 2025 release of Wrapped has been their best year yet. With over 200 million engaged users in the first 24 hours. The previous year, it took 62 hours for them to reach this number. They’re up by 19%.
Users have engaged with at least one of the stories within the whole Wrapped experience, even if they didn’t watch every story provided. The share cards have been shared over 500 million times within this year, which again is 41% more than 2024.
The main regions getting involved this year were the US, India, Japan, Colombia, Thailand and Indonesia. Previously, the company received disappointing reviews due to their lack of metrics provided. Whereas, this year, it seems quite the opposite.
People are particularly loving finding out their listening age. It’s creative and a clever way of encouraging people to watch their customised stories all the way through. It seemed to work for them, so perhaps moving forward they’ll lean into this further.
