Less is more when it comes to marketing your music

Naturally, you want your link to stand out from everyone elses. However, don’t over do it because otherwise, you run the risk of your link becoming overwhelming to people. You need your Fan Link to give a clear insight into who you are as a musician.

People want to hear your music, they don’t require all the extra links directing them elsewhere. They’re here for you, so show who you are as an artist. If you have your own branding, this is where you need to include it for consistency.

You want someone to click on your link and know it’s yours. That’s where having your artist image on display is important, but you don’t always need clashing logos and moving GIFs. Sometimes, stripping it back can be just as powerful.

It’s good to show yourself in the best light, but you want your music to do all the talking. The main point you cannot overlook, is including your store links, all of them, as well as your social media profiles so people can see your online presence.
