Deezer launched their own version of Spotify Wrapped called My Deezer Year 2025. While the feature is extremely similar to Spotify’s, the name isn’t quite as catchy. It’s great news for Deezer listeners, though.

On Monday, 1st December, Deezer launched a new yearly summary for music lovers. Called My Deezer Year 2025, the feature is the first of the year to provide music fans a summary of their streaming history throughout the year.
Users will be able to see their top artists, albums, genres and their most played song of the year. The feature has become popular on other platforms, with listeners streaming their favourite artists tracks, hoping to be in their top listening percentage.
The theme behind Deezer’s recap this year is Romantic Comedy, so the visuals will be based around this. Listeners should feel as though they have been picked up, and placed into a rom-com while watching their statistics unfold.
Deezer’s Meet Cute
Arguably, there is nothing better around Christmas than watching a love story unfold on the screen, so allowing users to feel as though they are part of that might be the magic needed. There will even be scenes such as a meet cute.
For those who aren’t romance comedy clued-up, a meet cute is the first encounter between two characters that ends in a romance. Usually being the two lead characters, of course. So, imagine sparkles and warm feelings.
Deezer’s experience is split into three sections. The first episode, if you like, is the Meet Cute, showing listeners their newly discovered artists, then it moves onto the Love Triangle where you’ll see your top three artists from the year.
Finally, you’ll see a Happily Ever After scene where your favourite tracks and a personalised playlist will appear. Last year, Deezer had a different style of annual review. It allowed users to either be roasted or hyped up based on their listening choices.
Personalised quizzes with friends
Deezer users will even get a personalised quiz, allowing them to answer compatibility questions based upon their music taste. They can share the results with their friends to find musical matches. It’s all extremely love centred this year.

There’s even an option to create your own quiz by entering your favourite genre, along with three songs, and a top artist. Your friends can then see who matches your preference. This is the first year Deezer have opened this feature up to non-Deezer users.
Even those who are subscribed can create their own quiz, which, in turn, will encourage people to use the platform. This will lead to the quizzes being shared across socials and will likely help expand Deezer’s reach.
