Teens are using TikTok’s STEM feed regularly
Since the introduction of the feed, TikTok users have gained access to a world of content. With almost 200 million views on the STEM videos, one third of teenagers within the US and UK visit the feed every week. Whether that’s for hours or minutes – it all helps.
If teens are going to spend their time scrolling TikTok, why not make it educational? STEM, standing for science, technology, engineering and maths, groups together subjects within a similar focus. As TikTok expands their feed, users should be able to interact with the content.
People learn in different ways. Some need more visual, or hands-on experiences within a subject to fully comprehend it. Unfortunately, due to budgets, time and resources, schools can’t always cater for every learning type individually.
Therefore, having resources on hand which allow individuals to access what works best for their learning style is a really powerful tool TikTok are offering. All users within the regions covered should be able to now access the STEM feed. If not, try updating the TikTok app.
